The volume leader in Chinese five-finger hands, vertically integrated on micro servo cylinders, with a domestic price curve that fell roughly 98% in five years.
Inspire was the first Chinese company to sell a mass-produced five-finger dexterous hand, and it remains the reference point for the category. The product line runs from the RH56DFX that most integrators buy, through a high-speed BFX variant, an industrial E2 with tactile sensing, and a G2 generation.
The company's leverage is vertical: it makes its own micro servo cylinders and integrated joints rather than buying them. A Suzhou plant is rated at 500,000 cylinders and about 50,000 hands a year, and the company reports more than 10,000 hand deliveries in 2025. That combination is why the domestic price could fall from over 1,000,000 RMB before 2020 to about 20,000 RMB for the mainstream model in 2024–25.
What a buyer should know
- The export price is not the domestic price. In 2026 the same RH56DFX family was listed between $5,600 and $20,599 across US channels, against about 20,000 RMB at home.
- Six actuated degrees of freedom over 12 joints suits grasp work, not in-hand manipulation.
- No tactile array on the DFX. The E2 variant is the one described as industrial with tactile sensing, at 790 g.
- Service depth outside China is the open question. The company publishes a parts and support story in Chinese; English-language support terms are not on the pages we could verify.

There is no published export price list, which is why every USD figure in this index is graded as a channel observation. The 2025 delivery count is 10,000 in the company's own statement and 12,000 in a research summary. Neither is audited.
